ANIMAL HOUSE RATTERY

Peeks (above) is a black capped blazed dumbo with a very sweet and loving temperment. Over a couple months she has developed spots on her back like rats with varigated markings. I just love when she "peeks" her cute little face out from under her blankets or inside her toys and tunnels.

Next we have Leelu (above) she is a Lilac Irish Velveteen Dumbo Doe and she is a Dare Devil /Stunt Woman! She will jump onto anything up to four feet away including, chairs, boxes, dressers, clothes piles, and yes...PEOPLE! She always jumps on my back when I am getting her food ready and the distance between me and her ping-pong table she plays on is about three feet but it is four without me and sometimes she jumps without me even being there! She is crazy! One time, I was kneeling down (not paying attention) and she jumped on my face from the table! I was angry because it scared me and scratched my face up pretty good , but if I would have recorded it, I would have won $10,000 on America's Funniest Home Videos! I love her to death, infact I named her after a character in the movie "Fifth Element" because the Fifth Element needed to save the world was love and the character "Leelu" in the movie was "The Fifth Element" (you'd probably have to have see the movie to fully understand).

Then there is Blondie (above) she is a Fawn Blazed Berkshire Rex Dumbo Doe and is so sweet and very mellow. She doesn't like to play too rough, she gives kisses when you pick her up (especially when one of the other girls are being to rough with her), and she LOOOOVVES treats! She is the first one to the cage door when she hears my with a treat box or bag and she is also the largest female here at the rattery. Larger than her biological sister Peeks. She is a very good girl and a "Gorgeous Blonde".

Last but certainly not least is Niba (nee-ba) a Lilac Berkshire Dumbo Doe and she is my baby and the adoption that made me decide to start this rattery. That is where her name comes from..."Niba" = Nikki's Baby. She and Leelu came before all the others. She is Leelu's biological sister and is just as loving and playful but not as much as a Dare Devil by far. She is the sweetest though, I also think she loves me the most because it seems she would choose me picking her up over a yummy treat and she is the only one who does that! I think part of the reason that she is not so daring is the fact that she doesn't see well. She is also the only one who scans the room from time to time back and forth with her head trying to see something clearly. Niba is a part of me as well as the others and I cannot measure  my love for each because I love them all deeply.
