If for any reason you decide you cannot keep the rat(s) or do not want them, I encourage you to return them to me, I will even pick them up if needed. I will be more than happy to take them back and find them a good home but you will not be refunded unless the circumstance is out of your hands (I make exceptions for honest people). You must quarantine your new babies for atleast two weeks. They should be kept in a sanitised, separate cage in another room away from other rats and you should wash your hands everytime between touching your new rat(s) and your other rat(s). Do not share anything (food, bedding, dishes, etc.) between the quarantined rat(s) and your other rat(s) for the entire two weeks. Be very careful because your new babies' life may depend on it as well as your other beloved ratties'. I will refund your money and take the rat back if he/she becomes sick within that two week period but ONLY if he/she is quarantined properly. After the two weeks or if you put the baby with other ratsbefore the two weeks is up, it is out of my hands but I will always be available for help and questions you may have.
Rats are the best pets and friends you could have. They only have a bad reputation with people that DO NOT know anything about them. These are not dirty, disease carrying animals, they are loving PET rats that are full of life and personality as well as wonderful companions! |

Last but surely not least,I must have a signature from you on my "Adoption Agreement" upon picking up your new companion just to be sure he/she will be in good hands and not in the hands of a snake feeder or anything like that. It would kill me to think that I let one of the babies go to a horrible environment where they were eaten, neglected, mistreated, and/or abused. Once I know you and I know you care for your ratties, adopting from me again will not call for any signatures and I'll be sure to make it easier for you! Below is a copy of the agreement.

Animal House Rattery Adoption Agreement
I agree to the following terms upon adoption from Animal House Rattery:
1. The rat(s) I am adopting will not be food for a snake or any other animal but for a pet and/or for breeding.
2.If the rat(s) I am adopting is for a child, or there will be children under 12 handling the rat(s), I will supervise at all times and will make sure that all terms on this agreement are followed as described by any and all people involved with raising the rat(s).
3. I will not breed the rat(s) adopted from Animal House without notifying Nikki first and if I am not a breeder already, I will do the proper research and be sure I am ready to begin breeding before doing so.
4. I will supply a healthy, happy, environment for my rat(s) and take proper care of it at all times.
5. I will spend as much time with my rat(s) as possible and try to spend atleast one hour a day of playtime with it.
6. If I have questions or concerns about anything regarding my rat‘s care, health, and/or well-being, I will contact Nikki at Animal House Rattery or another knowledgeable source before taking action.
7. If I find that I can no longer do any of the above, or for any reason become unable to keep my rat(s), I will return it to Animal House without fail (only under certain circumstances will I be able to refund your money, to be determined at the time the rat/rats are returned). This is to assure that the rat(s) will have a home and not end up abandoned and homeless or even worse.
By signing you agree to comply with the above terms:
